The RDGC-8C is a Switch Dynamic Characteristics Test Set accurately measures the mechanical characteristics of high voltage circuit breakers, including less oil, more oil, vacuum, and SF6 types. This tester is essential for dynamic analysis, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the power system.

Description

  • The RDGC-8C high voltage Switch Dynamic Characteristics Test Set, also known as the high voltage switch mechanical characteristics tester, is designed based on the latest national standard "High Voltage AC Circuit Breaker" GB1984-2014. It also refers to the power industry standard of the People's Republic of China, "General Technical Conditions for High Voltage Test Equipment" Part 3, DL/T846.3-2017, as the design foundation. This tester provides convenience for the dynamic analysis of various types of circuit breakers and can accurately measure the mechanical dynamic characteristics of high voltage circuit breakers of various voltage levels, such as less oil, more oil, vacuum, and SF6.

  • In the power system, the high voltage Switch Dynamic Characteristics Test Set circuit breaker is responsible for both control and protection tasks, and its performance is directly related to the safe operation of the power system. Among the various parameters used to evaluate the performance of circuit breakers, the mechanical characteristic parameter is one of the most important.

Features

  1. Robust Computing Power: Built on a solid foundation with an embedded industrial computer featuring a CortexTM-A8 motherboard, this unit operates at a 1GHz frequency with 1GB of flash memory. It boots up in just 16 seconds, ensuring quick access to its functions. The 9-inch color screen, running on a Windows operating system, provides an intuitive touch interface that supports both Chinese and English input, making it a breeze for on-site technicians to operate.

  2. On-the-Spot Printing: A high-speed thermal printer is integrated into the system, allowing for immediate printing of test data directly at the worksite.

  3. Self-Contained Power Supply: The RDGC-8C Circuit Breaker Analyzer System comes with an integrated operation power supply, eliminating the need for additional on-site power sources. It can deliver an adjustable DC output from 6 to 270V at 20A, enabling operators to set the operating voltage for the trip and close coils as needed, facilitating low-voltage operational tests of circuit breakers.

  4. Sensor Flexibility: The device is equipped with a variety of sensors, including linear, rotary, and universal sensors, with the option to add a laser sensor. It also includes specialized multifunction joints for easy and simple installation.

  5. Universal Compatibility: The RDGC-8C Circuit Breaker Analyzer System is designed to work with all models of SF6 switches, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) electrical combinations, vacuum switches, and oil switches, whether domestic or international in origin.

  6. Efficient Data Collection: With a single operation of the switch, the RDGC-8C captures all necessary data and graphics, displaying them simultaneously on the screen. Calculations of speed are instantaneous, obviating the need for redundant testing.

  7. Data Storage Capacity: The device can store up to 30,000 sets of test data, with the option to expand memory via a memory card. An inbuilt real-time clock facilitates easy archiving and referencing of data.

  8. Connectivity Options: The RDGC-8C Circuit Breaker Analyzer System features 2 USB interfaces for convenient operation with a mouse and direct data saving to a USB drive. It also offers optional RS232 and WIFI interfaces for online operation and data transfer.

  9. Comprehensive Measurements: The unit is capable of measuring 12 metal contact fractures (6 main and 6 auxiliary), 3/6 closing resistances, 1 dynamic resistance, and 1 or 3 speed measurements, depending on the configuration.

  10. Advanced Analysis Tools: The built-in software envelope and switching vibration frequency analysis tools allow for detailed examination and comparison of individual switch test values.

  11. Robust Reliability: An internal anti-interference circuit ensures reliable operation even in environments as challenging as a 500KV substation.
