What types of oil can an oil purifier process?
Vacuum oil purifier can completely remove water and impurities. They are used for oils with high water content, like turbine oils, insulating oils, and refrigeration oils. For high-viscosity oils, vacuum filtration is necessary. Ordinary filter machines need heating devices, such as heated plate-frame filters or hybrid vacuum filters.
Ordinary oil filter machines can only remove impurities and trace amounts of water, such as plate-frame filters and portable oil filters. They can process low-viscosity oils like lubricating oils and hydraulic oils. These machines can also be used for oiling.
How does
Centrifugal oil filter machines remove impurities and small amounts of water. They are used for oils like refrigeration oil, quenching oil, and cold heading oil. However, they have lower processing capacity and efficiency.
De-coloring oil filter machines can remove water and impurities completely, changing the oil color. These machines may require additional adsorbents. Currently, these machines are mature for processing lubricating and hydraulic oils.
How does an oil purifier work?
Working Principle of the Oil Filter Machine
The main function of an oil filter machine is to remove impurities, dirt, water, and gases from oil.
Basic Components and Process Flow:
Oil Inlet: The oil enters the machine.
Heater: The oil is heated to improve filtration.
Vacuum Pump: The vacuum pump removes impurities by creating a vacuum. Gases are expelled.
Oil Pump: The oil pump provides power, sending oil through the filtration process.
Working Process
The process begins when oil enters the machine and passes through rough filtration, where large particles such as metal fragments and dust are removed. Next, the oil is heated to improve filtration efficiency and is then directed to the vacuum chamber. As the oil level reaches the specified limit, the oil pump moves it to fine filtration, where smaller impurities are removed. Finally, the cleaned oil exits the machine through the oil outlet, ready for use.
Double-Stage Pump System:
The machine uses a direct-coupled pump and a Roots pump.
The direct-coupled pump creates a low vacuum. The Roots pump ensures a higher vacuum level and better efficiency.
